...but this part is way different that what I usually get (alternating red/blond highlights and lowlights). Only the top layer of hair is brunette/blond; the layers underneath are now all red (it's highlighted in large panels instead of the usual small sections). As you can see from the pic above, the red just peeks through if I leave it down. If I want to make it more exciting, I can pull back the top layer to show all of the red. Yay!
I'm gradually working my way up to this haircut (but not as severe in the back):

I was going to get it this time, but decided I wanted to keep some length since it's still summer and I want the option to pull back my hair when it's disgustingly hot. Damn summer for interfering with my hair! :)

Oh - pretty. I SO want to be a redhead. For some reason, "dirty blond" is just *not* an appealing color!
