Although I love to shop, I abhor Black Friday. What was once a day of fun holiday shopping has turned into a disgusting display of rampant capitalism and greediness. Don't get me wrong - I love to give and get presents just as much as the next person. I just hate how Black Friday seems to give people a free pass to act like complete savages. It's absolutely ridiculous.
My Black Friday will involve zero crowds, fights, or madness. I'm meeting up with Beebs soon for a two-hour Cardio Dance Party (an hour of cardio bellydancing and an hour of boxing) at a local dance studio. The afternoon will include some quality time with my DVR. Later in the evening, M and I are meeting up with some friends for Thanksgiving leftovers, drinks, and games (I have to add back all of those calories I burned off during my morning workout!). I think my version of Black Friday is way more fun than any one that involves getting elbowed and stepped on by the unshowered masses at Walmart. :-)

Agreed. I refuse to go out there. I've worked retail and know how horrible it is.
I may shop online, but that's it.
